LUOFU Valve Group Co., Ltd. was established in 1984 and restructured into a group company in 2005, with a registered capital of 110.88 million RMB. It is a leading enterprise focused on the research and manufacturing of safety valves. Over the years, the company has become a member of the resource market for Sinopec Equipment and Materials Corporation, a first-level material supplier for PetroChina (Energy No. 1 Network member), a network supplier for CNOOC, a first-level network member for Shenhua Group, a qualified supplier for China National Chemical Corporation, and a qualified supplier for Huizhong Engineering (China) Co., Ltd. In November 2013, the company was authorized by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and obtained the ASME “UV” certification. Over the years, LUOFU Valve Group has provided reliable and reasonably priced API series safety valve products for domestic industries such as petroleum, petrochemical, coal chemical, and power generation, earning positive feedback from users. The company has also established good cooperative relationships with companies such as Sinopec Luoyang Petrochemical Engineering Company, PetroChina East China Exploration and Design Institute, Tianchen Engineering Co., Ltd., and others, and signed strategic cooperation framework agreements with refining and ethylene projects of subsidiaries of PetroChina, Sinopec, and CNOOC.

Company Scale and Main Products

The company's factory covers an area of 13,000 square meters, with a building area of 14,700 square meters. It is equipped with 200 sets of various mechanical processing equipment (including one machining center), and 23 sets of testing equipment (including the safety valve factory inspection testing bench). The company has a full-performance testing device for safety valves, capable of handling a maximum diameter of DN200/8” and a maximum pressure of 10MPa/600Lb. Additionally, the company is equipped with equipment for magnetic particle testing, an Inos spectrometer, a universal testing machine, carbon-sulfur analyzer, ultrasonic testing machine, X-ray testing machine, spring tension/compression tester, and helium mass spectrometer for material inspection.

The company currently employs 172 people for the production of safety valve products, with 29 technical personnel (including 1 senior engineer and 6 intermediate engineers). LUOFU’s safety valve products are divided into two major categories: the API series and the national standard series. The API series safety valves are designed, manufactured, and tested according to the API520, ASME I, ASME VIII, API526, and API527 standards. The national standard series is designed, manufactured, and tested according to GB/T12241, GB/T12242, and GB/T12243-2005 standards.

Product types include: spring-loaded, pilot-operated, bellows backpressure balanced, insulated jacketed for urea plants, and high-performance steam safety valves. Materials include WCB, LCB, CF8 (304), CF8M (316), CF3M (316L), 316L.mod, 304L, 304H, 310S, 321, C12A, 17-4PH, and special materials such as HC, HB, Monel, Ti, Ni, etc. The bellows material includes 316L, HC, Inconel 718, and others. The spring materials include 50CrVA, 30W4Cr2VA, 17-7PH, 316, Inconel 750, and others. The API series safety valves range from nominal pressure 150Lb to 2500Lb, with sizes from 1/2” to 20”, and the national standard series ranges from nominal pressure 1.6MPa to 42MPa, with sizes from DN15 to DN600.

The company has established a strict quality control system in accordance with the ISO9001:2008 Quality Management System requirements and the Special Equipment Manufacturing License. All personnel and processes are managed according to system documents and TS requirements. The company conducts technical problem-solving and process verification for major technical and quality issues. Key processes have been designed with quality control points to strengthen prevention and control. The company’s quality inspection system establishes three control points: incoming inspection, semi-finished product inspection, and finished product inspection, with a combination of special inspection, self-inspection, and mutual inspection. This ensures clear identification of semi-finished products, finished products, and non-conforming products in warehouses, workshops, and production lines, providing traceability for product quality.

The company has a physical and chemical laboratory and a non-destructive testing room. It can perform tests on carbon steel, alloy steel, austenitic stainless steel, duplex stainless steel, and special steel materials. Non-destructive testing methods include liquid penetrant (PT) testing, magnetic particle (MT) testing, radiographic (RT) testing, and ultrasonic (UT) testing. These methods are applied to valve bodies, welds, valve stems, springs, and other components.
